Course Details

Movement Beyond Medicine invites you to rethink physical activity as more than a clinical intervention. It recognises movement as part of everyday life – how people travel, work, care for others, play, connect and participate in their communities. Health benefits still matter, but this approach focuses on creating the conditions that make movement meaningful, inclusive and sustainable. Through this lens, movement supports participation, identity and belonging. Helping people to live well, not simply manage illness. This workshop explores how environments, systems and language shape opportunities to move, and how practitioners can embed movement into everyday practice to support individual and system-wide change.
