We’re excited for you to meet our team of Occupational Therapists and Coaches who make our Sport for Confidence sessions so fun. The team at Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre is Hannah Webster (Occupational Therapist) and Charlie Collins (Coach).

Our Local Partners

Sport for Confidence works with a variety of partners at a local level which include organisations such as community services and groups, health care services, councils, schools and universities. By collaborating with our local partners, we are able to reach a larger audience, promote inclusive physical activity and increase the impact we have on our client’s health and wellbeing.

How we work with our partners:

  • London Borough of Waltham Forest – Supporting the community to increase activity levels. Council based services that specifically refer to SFC at the Feel Good Centre include; Social Prescribing service and Waltham Forest Dementia Hub
  • NELFT – North and East London Foundation Trust – A huge organisation who refer to SFC for ongoing physical and social support from many departments including: Waltham Forest Falls Prevention Service (for ongoing therapeutic activity when falls prevention course is completed), Waltham Forest Memory Service, Community Stroke Team, Community Learning Disabilities Team, Integrated Care Team, Waltham Forest Recovery College (referrals sent for the engagement of adults with mental health considerations in therapeutic sporting activities)
  • Carers First – Mutual referral pathway for support and advice for carers
  • Stroke Association – send referrals to SFC and support the introduction of individuals to the leisure centre environment.
  • Alzheimer’s Society – provision of materials to promote activity and alter perceptions
  • Redbridge Council – Referrals from Community Learning disabilities Team. Woodbine Redbridge Day Centre attend Boccia sessions on Thursday and Friday
