Monday:

Focus Fitness (via Zoom)  10am – 11am

A strength based workout using every day objects

Seafront Walk & Talk – Chalkwell Beach  12pm – 1pm

Meeting Point – Tides of Chalkwell/Surf Cafe

 

Thursday:

Love To Move (via Zoom) 10am – 11am

Age & dementia friendly seated gymnastics session

Natter In Nature – Southchurch Park  11:30am – 12:30pm

Meeting Point – Southchurch Park Cafe

Our Local Partners

Sport for Confidence works with a variety of partners at a local level which include organisations such as community services and groups, health care services, councils, schools and universities. By collaborating with our local partners, we are able to reach a larger audience, promote inclusive physical activity and increase the impact we have on our client’s health and wellbeing.

How we work with our partners:

  • Trustlinks – A two-way information signposting process. Jointly worked on creating a flyer for carers.
  • Southend Carers – A two-way information signposting process. Jointly worked on creating a flyer for carers.
  • Essex University Partnership Trust – Including Community Psychologists, Community Occupational Therapy Team, Communications Team.
  • Stepping Out – Jointly organised Carers walking event.
  • Anxiety Society – Provided 6-week intervention on anxiety management.
  • Southend Borough Council – Helps promote sessions and provides networking links.
  • Action for Family carers – A two-way information signposting process. Jointly worked on creating a flyer for carers.
  • Everyone Health – Refers and signposts clients to physical activity.
