Sport for Confidence Founder and Lead Occupational Therapist, Lyndsey Barrett, will be speaking at this years Elevate – the B2B event for physical activity at the ExCel Centre in London.
Lyndsey will be presenting ‘‘Reimagining physical activity: an occupational therapy perspective’ on Wednesday, 12th June alongside Rebecca Phillips, Community Engagement Manager at Everyone Active.
Their presentation will be part of the ‘Collaborate’ strand of the event, sponsored by LifeFitness, which emphasises community engagement and health promotion. Topics include the use of gamification, the importance of inclusive language, integrating fitness into healthcare, supporting those with long-term health conditions, and mental health advocacy.
